Coaching is a thought-provoking, co-creative process that helps you maximize your potential and create lasting behavior change, whether that’s moving towards something, moving away from something, or changing the way you relate to yourself, others, or the world. Coaching is contemplative but also action-oriented -- we work together to identify clear steps for you to take in between sessions.
Throughout our coaching sessions, we may visit your past to understand the root of existing belief systems or perceptions. However, coaching is unlike therapy in that we focus more on the future and on taking defined action. While therapy and coaching are complimentary, therapy is the appropriate setting for addressing psychopathology, treating mental health concerns, and processing trauma.

Coaching supports individuals who are open and motivated to realize change, achieve goals, break patterns, or achieve an overall more satisfying life experience. As your coach, I will work with you to prioritize your needs and desired outcomes and develop a plan to get you there.
-
Coaching is a powerful modality for change. The vast majority of coaching clients experience profound shifts in their self-awareness, perceptions, and energy in a single session. Those who take action between sessions find that their lives look and feel more aligned with what they want in a short amount of time.

No significant preparation is necessary. I will send you a short email prior to our first session to help prepare you for the work we will do together. You may spend 5-10 minutes reading that email and thinking through some of the prompts. Between sessions, you’ll integrate what we discussed during sessions and take defined action.
-
In our sessions, we can talk about anything that’s alive in you. For example, relational issues, work and career goals or conflict, returning to work/changing careers, finding more purpose in life, making significant decisions, changing the way you see yourself and others, becoming a better leader, etc.
If there’s something on your mind that you’re not sure is suitable for coaching, reach out and we can discuss.

Submit your name and email on the Contact Me section below. I’ll send you a few questions to respond to via email, or propose a ten minute call so that we can see if we’re a good fit to work together. After that, we can discuss timing. I am working with a limited number of clients as I complete my practicum requirements for accreditation with the International Coaching Federation.

Meet Lauren
As a coach, I bring my training and the fullness of my lived experiences to each coaching conversation. I listen to what’s said, listen for what’s unsaid, ask questions and offer observations that guide clients down a path of exploration around the issues that are alive in them. While I whole-heartedly believe in the power of coaching and mindset work, my approach is grounded in pragmatism and a solid sense of humor.
I am a certified coach, a trained mediator, and hold certificates in conflict resolution. I’m also an experienced leader and work full-time as an attorney. I’m currently completing final requirements for accreditation with the International Coaching Federation.
